What you'll do:

As a Reinsurance Broker based in London, you will play a pivotal role in structuring and negotiating reinsurance programmes that meet the diverse needs of clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analysing risk profiles, preparing market presentations, supporting renewals, advising on market trends, managing compliance activities, and building strong relationships with both insurers and reinsurers. * Structure, negotiate, and place comprehensive reinsurance programmes including treaty and facultative arrangements tailored to client needs.
* Develop and maintain dependable relationships with insurers and reinsurers by sharing market insights and nurturing trust.
* Analyse clients’ risk profiles with sensitivity and provide bespoke solutions that address their unique requirements.
* Prepare detailed market presentations, slips, and placing documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Support renewal processes by collaborating closely with clients and market partners throughout negotiations.
* Advise clients on current market conditions as well as emerging trends in the reinsurance landscape.
* Manage post-placement activities ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contractual obligations.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver seamless service across all stages of the broking process.

What you bring:

To excel as a Reinsurance Broker in this organisation, you will bring proven experience from previous roles within insurance or reinsurance broking environments. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build dependable relationships with both clients and market partners. A degree in Insurance, Finance or Economics is preferred along with professional qualifications such as ACII or Cert CII which demonstrate your commitment to personal growth. * Degree in Insurance, Finance, Economics or related field preferred for foundational knowledge relevant to the role.
